Real estate photography can look a little different depending on what a client needs.
Some of the properties below were full real estate shoots, while others were smaller sessions focused on specific rooms, features, or marketing photos for an upcoming open house. I don't believe every property needs exactly the same set of photographs, so I work with the realtor or homeowner to figure out what makes sense for that particular property.
Here's a look at some of the real estate photography I've done so far.
Property 1 — Full Real Estate Photography
This was a vacant, staged home where I photographed the property for a realtor who was hosting an open house. Since the goal was to give her a complete set of images to promote the open house, this was a full property shoot, including the main living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, and exterior.
Property 2 — Residential Photography
This one is a little different because it's my own house. 😂
I used my home as a chance to practice real estate photography and work on things like composition, angles, lighting, and making a space look inviting in photographs.
This was not a full property shoot, so you'll only see the main living area here.
Properties 3 & 4 — Open House & Creative Marketing Photography
These two properties were photographed for a realtor to use in promoting open houses. For these, we wanted to do something a little different from a standard real estate photo set. Along with property photos, we incorporated sunset images, neighborhood signs, exterior details, flowers, and some of the open house setup. The idea was to give the realtor additional images she could use to market the open house and showcase some of the details that make a property and its neighborhood feel special.
Property 5 — Highlighting the Details
For this home, the owner had already had professional listing photos taken but wasn't happy with the way the color looked. She wanted additional images that more accurately represented the home and highlighted some of the updates she'd made.
This was a smaller, focused shoot rather than a full property session, concentrating primarily on the main level, exterior, the gardens and fruit trees. One of her specific requests was a photo highlighting the new appliances-which, yes, included opening the refrigerator door. 😂 Sometimes the refrigerator deserves its moment.
I included a few virtually staged & virtual twilight photos as well.
More to come
I'm still building my real estate portfolio, so this page will continue to grow as I photograph more properties.
I may have another property joining the list soon, but I'm waiting until the owner is ready to officially put it on the market before sharing those photos.
If you're a realtor, homeowner, or property professional in Southwest Washington looking for real estate photography, I'd love to talk about what you need.
Whether you're looking for a full property shoot, photos for an open house, or something a little more creative, I'm happy to figure out what makes sense for the property.
